Band 3
Strengths

Hugh has exceptional legal analysis and is a fluent, persuasive advocate.

Hugh is one of the first people I would consider to get help from at the Bar. Great at being very commercial, but also very personable and very human, he's got the full suit of skills.

Hugh is brilliant. Although hugely bright, he's a very accessible, normal man who is good on the communication front. Excellent, particularly on the paperwork; he's just great.

Strengths

Hugh Miall is a go-to senior junior who does a large amount of cases and gets a lot of advocacy experience from them. He is user-friendly, commercial and someone who thinks about strategy.

Hugh Miall's written work is absolutely brilliant, and he puts a huge amount of effort into everything he does. I am really impressed by him.

I was incredibly impressed by Hugh's legal analysis. In the Court of Appeal, his presentation on an especially difficult point of law was frankly exceptional. I rate him very highly.

Individual Editorial

Hugh Miall is a well-regarded junior with a broad insolvency and restructuring practice spanning both contentious and non-contentious work. He is particularly adept at advising on cross-border matters and foreign insolvencies. He also offers expertise in asset recovery after bankruptcy or liquidation, claims involving antecedent transactions and misfeasance, IVAs and CVAs, and winding-up proceedings.

Strengths

He's super bright but also very good in his communication.

Hugh is ahead of his call in terms of gravitas.

Hugh is excellent, really strong and a silk in the making. He is hard-working and technically very good.
