Hugh Jones is the Chairman of Hugh Jones Solicitors, having set up the firm in 2013. He is a nationally recognised leader in his fields of Court of Protection and Private Client work; his expertise as a Court of Protection Deputy is such that he also has a very substantial expert witness practice advising more than 35 PI and Clinical Negligence firms, nationally.
Hugh specialises in all aspects of mental capacity law, acting as a professional deputy, appointed in his sole capacity, joint and severally with family members and as a director of the Hugh Jones Trust Corporation on over 240 cases. Hugh also advises many lay deputies.
Hugh is a member of the OPG panel of Deputies and receives referrals from the panel, the judiciary, other professionals and Local Authorities. He is a nationally recognised expert and eminent speaker on all aspects of provisions for the learning disabled, mental incapacity and the Court of Protection.
