Founding partner Helen Naves practices in the areas of corporate, banking, and finance and holds dual qualification in the State of São Paulo (Brazil) and New York State (USA). For over two decades, she worked as part of the legal team of leading multinational financial institutions and as a partner in some of the most prestigious law firms in Brazil. Helen Naves' practice includes specific advice in banking regulations, corporate law, and capital markets, advising financial institutions and companies in debt financing and capital markets transactions, as well as assisting in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of banking contracts, guarantees and other financial instruments, including derivatives, futures, and other cross-border financial investments.
In addition to her leading banking and finance practice, Helen holds leadership positions such as senior vice-chair of the New York State Bar Association’s International Section and co-president of the Brazil Chapter of the Fordham Law alumni. Helen holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), a postgraduate degree in Securities Law, a Master’s in Commercial Law from USP, and an LL.M. in Banking, Corporate, and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law.
