Up and Coming
Provided by Helen Fry
Helen works across all areas of public and administrative law, with a particular focus on judicial review.
Recently she has acted in a range of challenges to central government and other public bodies, including claims concerning pandemic procurement, the "partygate" scandal, and sewage discharges. She also advises on discrimination, regulatory law (with a focus on the regulators' treatment of climate activism), and charity law.
She has acted in high profile inquests (most recently acting for Alice Litman's family at her inquest, which resulted in a finding that the entire national system of gender-affirming care was underfunded) and inquiries (including acting for the panel of the Labour Party's Forde Inquiry).
Helen trained at Bircham Dyson Bell (now BDB Pitmans), qualifying in 2015. She moved to Good Law Project in 2021, from where she was seconded to Bindmans. In August 2022, on its launch, she moved to Good Law Practice, where her main client is Good Law Project.
