Hasan Tahsin Azizagaoglu

Dr Hasan Tahsin Azizagaoglu is a litigation finance professional at Bench Walk Advisors, where he oversees due diligence for proposed funding cases, negotiates funding arrangements, and manages the matters that follow. His work spans investment and commercial arbitration, enforcement, monetisation, class actions, and cross-border litigation across multiple jurisdictions. He is recognised by Chambers and Partners 2026 Global-wide in International Arbitration and, for the second consecutive year, UK-wide in Litigation Funding. He has been named a Thought Leader in Third-Party Funding by the Lexology Index (formerly Who's Who Legal) for the third consecutive year, and among the Lawdragon 100 Global Leaders in Litigation Finance for the fourth consecutive year.

He served as Co-Chair of the Third-Party Funding Group at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a founding member of the organising committees for London Arbitration Week and Istanbul Arbitration Days. Dr Azizagaoglu holds a PhD in Private International Law and has authored numerous articles across private international law, arbitration, and third-party funding. He also holds a degree in International Relations with an emphasis on geopolitics, a perspective that lends strategic depth to his work on sovereign matters, enforcement proceedings, complex investigations, and cross-border asset tracing.
