Hannah is a Senior Associate Solicitor and Head of the Mental Health Department at Guile Nicholas. She is recognised in Chambers and Partners 2026 as an ‘Associate to Watch’ for her expertise in Mental Health law.
Hannah specialises in representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983, regularly appearing at First-tier Tribunal (Mental Health) hearings and Hospital Managers’ Reviews. She also has experience with nearest relative displacement proceedings and works closely with the Court of Protection team.
Based at the firm’s Bedfordshire office, Hannah is known for her empathetic approach, strong advocacy skills, and dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for vulnerable clients. She is also a Legal Aid Agency Supervisor, committed to ensuring access to justice in complex and sensitive cases.

I am passionate about supporting vulnerable clients through the challenges of the mental health and capacity systems. Leading the Mental Health Department allows me to combine strong advocacy with a compassionate, client-centred approach, while also dedicating time to mentoring and developing the next generation of specialists in the field.
