Garfinkel Immigration Managing Partner Hannah F. Little found her passion for immigration law while spending a semester abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico.
While doing volunteer work in Guadalajara, Hannah became interested in the human experience behind immigration and what prompts individuals and families to risk uprooting their lives to move somewhere new.
Hannah has practiced immigration law since 2006 and is certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the N.C. State Bar, the highest specialization attainable in the state.
Hannah represents employers and employees in a variety of industries and has extensive experience in the preparation of L-1 and H-1B petitions as well as other nonimmigrant work visa options. She also assists companies and individuals with a wide range of employment based green card petitions, including applications based on extraordinary ability, multinational manager/executive experience, the National Interest Waiver, and labor certifications.
Hannah is interested in the role of technology in the legal practice and has served as a member of AILA’s Innovation and Technology Committee. She also speaks frequently on this topic.
Lastly, Hannah is committed to pro bono work and has previously been named a Pro Bono Hero by AILA and to the NC Pro Bono Honor Society.
