Career
I am a partner in the intellectual property and technology department in Fieldfisher's Brussels office.
I am an experienced litigator in all areas of intellectual property law (copyright, trademarks, patents, designs and trade secrets).
I also litigate matters in the area of technology law, such as internet service provider liability, domain name disputes and unfair trade practices, including matters involving the protection of reputation of companies or individuals.
I advise clients in IP-rich transactions, such as technology transfer, software licensing, consulting, outsourcing, brand protection and film production/distribution.
My experience in all IP-rich and/or highly regulated sectors has involved me working with clients from the media and telecom sector, the life sciences sector (with spin-offs from universities, start-ups as well as multinationals), the consumer products/retail sector, the high-tech sector, the sports sector and the energy sector.
I have been involved in many high-profile IP litigation proceedings where I successfully represented clients such as Vitra, Studio 100, Puratos, Telenet and Tomorrowland.
I graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain and completed a Master in Intellectual Property Law at the Catholic University of Brussels, as well as a LL.M in Law, Science & Technology at Stanford University. I am a member of the editorial board of the Belgian IP law journal IRDI and the technology law journal RDTI.
