Practice Areas
Guido Bergervoet is a partner in the Amsterdam Disputes practice. He focuses on complex commercial dispute resolution and regularly assists clients on their most sensitive and high stakes matters. Guido has particular experience in commercial disputes with a regulatory dimension, including matters involving supervisory authorities or other branches of the Dutch State, as well as disputes arising in situations of financial distress. Guido was the lead advocate in the Bio City restructuring in which the district court of Amsterdam for the for time sanctioned a Dutch restructuring plan of bonds that were originally governed by English law.
Guido holds a PhD from Radboud University Nijmegen and remains active as an author and speaker on topics of financing, security rights and insolvency. He frequently works closely with other senior partners and counsel on complex, multi party matters and is closely involved in overall case strategy and client coordination.
