Grace Shao

As head of IP Practice Group, Grace is an experienced IP lawyer who has assisted clients on a vast array of IP litigation matters. Her practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation; counselling; licensing; and prosecution. She is the lead partner for many international brands, such as Louis Vuitton Malletier, Unilever, BAT, Abbott, etc.

Grace has been serving as chairwoman of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association in 2021-22, and was elected president of the Taiwan Trademark Association (TTA) in August 2022.

With her vast experience and proven track record as a leading expert on IP practice, Grace has been consistently top-ranked by Chambers and The Legal 500 in IP, as well as the World Trademark Review 1000. She was named "Top 250 Women in IP" in 2019; "AP Top 100 Women in Litigation" in 2021; and "Taiwan's Top 100 Lawyers 2021 & 2022".
