Giuliano Foglia

Founding partner of Foglia & Partners, Giuliano Foglia advises a broad range of Italian and foreign corporate clients, financial institutions and investment funds on domestic and international tax matters with particular focus on those arising in connection with cross-border mergers and acquisitions and investment planning.

Giuliano Foglia also handles a wide range of tax controversy matters and has worked on enquiries by the Italian Revenue Agency, tax court cases, cooperative compliance programmes, transfer pricing disputes, APAs and MAPs, as well as various settlement negotiations.

He also has a deep experience in advising high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) including wealthy families and entrepreneurs who are seeking to structure their worldwide affairs in a compliant and efficient manner.

Giuliano Foglia also presents seminars and has authored articles in numerous publications.

Giuliano Foglia gained his meaningful experience in leading tax firms before founding Foglia & Partners: Maisto e Associati in the period 1996 - 2002 and as a partner at Tremonti Romagnoli Piccardi e Associati in the period 2003 - 2015.

Giuliano Foglia is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Italian Branch committee.

Giuliano Foglia is the president of the Commission of study at the Chartered Accountant Association for taxation of real estate and member of the International Taxation Commission set up at the National Council of the Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts.
