Giovanna Aucone

Giovanna Aucone has been working in a boutique firm since 2004, managing and developing the insurance practice with regard to regulatory advice and litigation in the life and non-life sectors.

She has extensive experience, both nationally and internationally, in advising insurance companies and distributors, both traditional distributors and bancassurance. In the area of litigation, she has developed a specific focus in relation to insurance coverage related to D&O and PI policies. Her special expertise origins from her involvement in the drafting and revision of the contractual and pre-contractual documents for D&O and PI policies, including pan-European product development projects. In the regulatory and compliance area, she gives legal advice, helps setting up branches, structures complex and tailor-made products, assists in the relations with the supervisory authority, provides assistance in sanctioning proceedings, drafts internal policies and procedures also with regard to the POG and dormant policies.

She is recommended by Chambers Europe in relation to the insurance practice from 2015 to date. With reference to the insurance practice, she has also been recommended as a leading professional in her areas of expertise by Leaders league for many years.
