George Kashindi is the head of the dispute resolution practice at Munyao Muthama and Kashindi. He holds an LLM in Financial Services Law with a specialisation in tax from the University of Nairobi. He has over 18 years’ experience in legal practice.
In recent years, George has acted for an elite roster of clients in jurisprudence setting disputes in tax, banking, insolvency, employment, aviation and regulatory spheres as well as in international commercial arbitration.
He is a highly-regarded practitioner and regularly appears before key tribunals, the High Court and the appellate courts. He is trusted with resolution of complex, sensitive and high-value mandates by financial institutions, leading corporations, multinational corporations and key government agencies and parastatals.
George is also leading name in governance, risk, compliance and regulatory law spheres where he regularly advises and acts for leading Kenyan regulators such as Communications Authority, Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, Agriculture and Food Authority, Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Commission and Engineers Board of Kenya.
