Principal areas of practice are company law (all aspects, advisory and litigation, including minority shareholder proceedings, insolvency and asset recovery), banking/insurance, financial services law, and professional negligence. Sits as an arbitrator.
Recent cases include: representing the successful appellant in the Marex Financial Ltd v Sevilleja appeal to the Supreme Court (reflective loss,  UKSC 31), Bott & Co Solicitors v Ryanair 1 WLR 3375 (solicitors’ lien, for which an appeal to the Supreme Court is pending), and Global Gaming Ventures  EWCA Civ 68 (company law and receivership).

Chancery Bar Association and COMBAR. Called to the Bars of the British Virgin Islands and the DIFC, and for specific cases to the Bars of Trinidad and Tobago and of the Cayman Islands. LCIA arbitrator.
