Mr. Shockley is a shareholder with experience in complex litigation, including environmental, personal injury, class action, antitrust, health care and construction cases. He also represents businesses and individuals in white collar criminal investigations and prosecutions and has conducted numerous internal investigations. Mr. Shockley is the former chair of Baker Donelson's Government Regulatory Actions Group.
Licensed in Tennessee since 1982, as well as the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh, and Third Circuits.
Mr. Shockley is a member of the litigation, environmental and antitrust sections of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and has previously served terms as chair of the TBA's Litigation Section (2005-2006), the Environmental Law Section (1994-1995), and on the Board of Governors (2013-2015). Mr. Shockley a member of the Nashville Bar Association and a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation. He is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and serves as a disciplinary hearing panel member for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.
