Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams is an experienced TEP accredited lawyer and as a Full Member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), he is one of the most senior practitioners in the UK’s Trusts, Estates and Personal Affairs Planning industry.

Gareth is a Director at Price Slater Gawne and leads both our Wealth Protection and Court of Protection departments.

He specialises in helping individuals and families maximise inheritances through tried and tested generational wealth planning. With extensive experience working for high-net-worth clients and families with vulnerable beneficiaries, Gareth has developed an extensive understanding of what measures can be implemented to bring peace of mind to those who value the importance of what they intend to leave their loved ones.

Gareth also acts as a Court of Protection financial deputy, which involves making financial decisions for vulnerable individuals who are unable to make decisions for themselves. Gareth has vast experience in acting for clients with extremely high value estates and complex needs arising from brain injury litigation, as well as the elderly and vulnerable beneficiaries who have received inheritances.

Gareth’s experience in these fields includes:

• Preparation of Wills of varying complexity and Lasting Powers of Attorney;

• Creation and Administration of Trusts (including those for vulnerable persons and for personal injury awards);

• Probate and administration of estates;
