Experience

Corporate Law

Backed by a strong academic foundation from his Master’s degree with honors in the field, his practice encompasses corporate structuring, design of corporate governance frameworks, drafting and negotiation of corporate contracts, business reorganizations, legal opinions on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and regulatory compliance audits. He advises companies across various sectors on mitigating operational legal risks and protecting their assets.

Commercial Law

With an extensive track record as a litigation attorney in this area, he provides courtroom representation in disputes arising from commercial transactions, enforcement or termination of commercial contracts, judicial and extrajudicial collection of negotiable instruments (promissory notes, checks, bills of exchange), and shareholder disputes, ensuring the continuity of his clients' business operations.

Labor & Employment Law

With both academic expertise from specialized diploma programs in the new labor justice system and hands-on experience handling complex lawsuits in defense of corporations, he has extensive background in preventive employment consulting for companies and institutions. This includes drafting individual and collective employment contracts, internal work regulations, and confidentiality policies. Furthermore, he represents management or employee parties before Conciliation Centers and Labor Courts in dismissal proceedings, termination of employment relationships, and collective bargaining negotiations.

Civil Law

As one of his primary areas of practice, his highly robust experience in civil litigation encompasses legal counseling and filing lawsuits related to real and personal property rights, all types of civil contracts, property and co-ownership disputes, as well as strict liability claims and moral damage actions.

Family Law

He stands out as a specialist in family law proceedings, applying a technical approach focused on efficient dispute resolution. His experience covers divorce proceedings (fault-based and no-fault), child support determination, child custody and visitation, parental rights, adoptions, as well as probate and intestate succession proceedings.

Criminal Law

His formative background at the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Nuevo León, his doctoral studies in Procedural Law, and his diploma credentials support his practice in the Accusatory Criminal Justice System. He focuses on the prevention of white-collar and financial crimes (fraud, breach of trust, fraudulent administration), legal representation of victims and complainants, and defense counsel in initial, intermediate, and oral trial hearings.

Administrative Law

His prior experience as a tax advisor for the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and postgraduate studies in tax law provide him with a thorough understanding of the relationship between private parties and government agencies. His practice includes designing legal defenses against tax audits, filing administrative appeals, nullity trials before the Administrative Court, disciplinary proceedings, public bidding processes, and amparo proceedings.

Electoral Law

His experience as legal counsel and representative for political parties, combined with his candidacies for State Representative, Electoral Prosecutor, and State Magistrate in Nuevo León, gives him a direct mastery of this field. He provides counsel on campaign audit processes, defense of political-electoral rights, filing appeals before the local Electoral Court and the Federal Electoral Tribunal (TEPJF), and compliance with the regulatory framework governing political parties, candidates, and political associations.
