Francisco Lanusse

Francisco Lanusse is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Francisco is a member of the Corporate Department as well as the M&A and Private Equity and the Latin America practices.

Francisco frequently advises companies and private equity firms on cross-border acquisitions, divestures, and corporate matters in industries such as energy and infrastructure and telecommunications.

Francisco’s practice focuses on M&A and private equity transactions in the region, and he has particular experience in asset and share acquisitions, divestures; and partnership and joint venture agreements.

Francisco has practiced in Madrid and New York. Before joining Latham, Francisco practiced in Buenos Aires at a leading Argentine law firm and as an in-house lawyer, where he primarily handled corporate and M&A transactions. Francisco is qualified both in New York and Buenos Aires.

Francisco maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on immigration and asylum matters. Francisco currently serves as a Local Leader of the Hispanic/Latin America Lawyers Group.
