Career
Francisco J. Valdés López is a partner of the Firm and heads the Energy, Administrative Law and Public Procurement practices. He advises in various areas of the Hydrocarbons and Electricity industries. He has represented domestic and foreign clients in all types of regulatory matters and in the development of infrastructure projects.
Among its clients are important private companies, as well as government agencies and entities such as CEMEX, Gas Industrial de Monterrey, Consejo Coordinador Empresarial, Ternium, Techgen, Kaltex, BayWa Re, New Fortress Energy, Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes, Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) and Grupo Empresarial México.
Francisco was Executive Secretary of the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). He also served as Regional Delegate of Caminos y Puentes Federales de Ingresos y Servicios Conexos (CAPUFE), as well as Head of the Legal Unit of the Instituto del Fondo Nacional para la Vivienda de los Trabajadores (INFONAVIT) in the State of Mexico.
