Francisco's work focuses on dispute resolution, advising clients on their relationships with government agencies, and managing both public and private contracts. He advises Brazilian and international investors on investments and business ventures in Brazil, by assessing risks and structuring projects.
Francisco's work in litigation, mediations, and arbitrations involves high-value contractual disputes with technical complexity in the fields of engineering, concessions, mining, and the environment. He develops effective strategies by understanding cases and translating arguments into simple and convincing theses.
In Public Law, his practice includes advising clients on regulatory and oversight matters, anticorruption issues, public civil investigations, public civil actions, and actions for administrative impropriety. His legal work particularly focuses on judicial review of administrative acts, such as filing original jurisdiction writs of mandamus with the Supreme Court (judicial review). He assists clients with municipal and urban law matters in various municipalities, except for Belo Horizonte, where he serves as a Municipal Attorney.
His academic studies in dispute resolution and judicial review, along with his ability to build trust, have enabled him to resolve challenging cases through negotiation and settlement.

Master of Dispute Resolution from University College London, with distinction. Specialised in Public Law from PUC/MG and graduated in law from UFMG in 2022. Partner at Aroeira Salles since 2005. Municipal Attorney for the City of Belo Horizonte since 2005. Active in the international legal community, member of the International Construction Law Association, Lex Anglo-Brasil, and active in the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in London.
