Francisco represents major family property structures and HNWI and their corporations. He has been dedicated to Family Offices restructures from a family and tax point of view, both domestically and in an international context.

He has also been involved in tax litigation for several decades, with a very impressive experience, where he has acted essentially as a lawyer, but also as an arbitrator with the scope of the Tax Arbitration Centre (CAAD).

Francisco was a member of several Committees of experts in charge of drafting tax legislation.

He was also a Visiting Professor of International Tax Law at Nova University of Lisbon (2000-2013) and has been teaching a postgraduate course on taxation at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa for many years.

Author of several articles published on tax subjects, Francisco is also the correspondent in Portugal for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation, Tax Analysts and the EU Tax Journal.
