Career

Flavia counts on over 20 years of experience in the shipping area. She deals with civil and administrative litigation related to accidents, oil spills, cargo claims and related insurance matters, and also advises on transactional and regulatory matters related to ship building, sale and purchase, chartering, transport and service supply contracts for the oil & gas and wind energy industries, as well as insurance and reinsurance related to those matters. She worked on important projects such as the Brazilian Navy PROSUB, where she advised on the building, sale and purchase of vessels and installations. Lately, due to her experience in both dry and wet shipping, she consolidated a reputation in emergency response, especially in casualties with multiple players and complex consequences, such as the explosion onboard the FPSO Cidade de São Mateus.
