With more than 20 years of experience, Felipe Aroca has been described as a great and technically excellent lawyer. Aroca regularly provides guidance to clients on the tax aspects of corporate transactions. He leads the tax, private wealth and corporate practices at Aroca Vives Abogados, one of the most recognized tax law firms in the Colombian Caribbean coast and throughout Colombia, which has strong allies around the world.

Additionally, Felipe has focused his professional practice on advising high net worth families, achieving great success in restructuring and reorganization, tax compliance, working with local and foreign financial institutions, trustees and lawyers, in the structuring of trusts and other protection vehicles.

Within his academic experience he stands out as a professor of Tax Law at the Law School of the Externado de Colombia University for more than 15 years, as well as being the academic coordinator and professor of post-graduate studies at the Universidad del Norte, among other constant academic participations in Colombia and abroad.

Felipe is actively collaborating with National and International conferences and seminars, taking into account that he is a national referent with an outstanding criterion to teach and give his point of view about the tax developments in Colombia and the region.
