His practice spans venture capital, private equity, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and banking & finance, with particular emphasis on asset-based lending and asset-based finance, credit facilities, structured credit programs, and financial leasing arrangements involving SOFOMs and other non-bank financial institutions; together with a substantial mergers and acquisitions practice spanning acquisitions of regulated entities, cross-border share and asset transactions, and related regulatory clearances. He also maintains an active venture capital practice, advising founders, funds, and investors on convertible instruments, fund formation, and governance matters, including the structuring and execution of alternative investment vehicles such as venture capital, private equity, private debt, growth equity, and real estate funds.

Prior to founding Hefesto Asesores, he served as Head of the Venture Capital Legal Department at Nacional Financiera, Mexico's government-backed development bank, where he advised a MXN $3.5 billion Fund of Funds and structured and negotiated more than 30 venture capital fund investments.

OCN (OneCarNow) – Advised OCN on an approximately US$100 million structured financing, combining equity and debt capital to support its continued expansion across Latin America.

Maquia Capital Acquisition Corporation – Advised on the Mexican structuring and funding aspects of Maquia’s approximately US$175 million Nasdaq IPO, including the implementation of its cross-border investment structure.

ACAD – Advised ACAD on its sale to Andersen Global, as part of Andersen’s continued expansion of its legal and professional services platform in Mexico.

BioEsol – Advised BioEsol on its US$15 million structured equity and debt financing round led by CIRI Ventures, supporting the expansion of its energy-storage platform.

Forandra Capital – Advised on the structuring and launch of Forandra Capital and its activist investment platform, targeting approximately MXN$3 billion and providing Mexican investors with exposure to global shareholder activism strategies.

Fondo de Capital Emprendedor – Advised the Mexican institutional venture capital fund on the divestiture of a portfolio of fund interests and direct investments valued at approximately MXN$200 million.

GC Capital – Advised GC Capital on the divestiture of an investment portfolio valued at approximately MXN$100 million.

Finatul México – Advised Finatul México on the acquisition of a Mexican SOFOM as part of its strategy to accelerate the expansion of its financing business.

Belo – Advised Argentine fintech Belo on the acquisition of a Mexican IFPE, in connection with its expansion into Mexico’s regulated financial services market.

Tuhabi – Advised a group of Mexican investors on the sale of their equity interests in Tuhabi, a leading Latin American proptech company.

G2 Momentum Capital – Advised G2 Momentum Capital on a comprehensive corporate and financial reorganization of its venture capital and investment platform.

G2 Fintech Fund – Advised on the restructuring of G2 Fintech Fund, including the reorganization of its investment, governance and corporate structure.

Trébol Capital – Advised on the structuring and launch of Trébol Capital, a Mexican venture capital fund with approximately MXN$50 million in commitments.
