Co-Founding Partner & Practice Head, Fabien Billet has been focused on creating a new brand dedicated to the French innovative ecosystem, following experience working within various highly-renowned French law firms.
He provides firms and investment funds with high-end legal advice to help them define financing rounds and capital structures that fit their ambitions.
Through his work over the past ten years, he has created a team which acts as first-class counsel for technology firms, whatever their development stage, from seed financings to later rounds as well as buyouts and major global company backings.
In particular, Fabien also acts as go-to counsel for start-ups and tech companies on venture rounds and other methods of financing for their innovations and their growth strategies.
Offering market-leading expertise at the intersection of private equity and M&A, Fabien is also regularly called to advise private equity leaders in connection with buy-and-build strategies for their portfolio companies.
Career
Fabien spent more than 10 years working in the Private Equity/ M&A/ Stock Exchange/ Corporate Law departments of some of the most renowned law firms in Paris:
- Ayache Salama, from September 2007 to June 2010;
- Kahn & Associés, from August 2010 to 2014.
At the beginning of 2015, he cofounded Walter Billet Avocats, a firm dedicated to the advising and assistance to companies and investment funds.
