Espen Tøndel

Espen is experienced in all aspects of IT (cloud services, agile development, outsourcing etc.) and communications law (regulatory, IOT, 5G etc). He has particular expertise in working with clients to help them manage and structure complex deals and is recognised for his work on digital transformation, software and telecoms projects. Digital transformation has been a core activity for Espen in the recent years covering several different industry sectors, such as shipping, agriculture, construction etc. He also advises on other complex commercial transactions and he has particular expertise on deals involving the use and exploitation of technology and intellectual property, hereunder related to M&A. Espen has also gained in-depth experience of advising clients on procurement strategies and has headed several complex procurements in Norway. A significant part of Espen's work covers cross border software license, resale- and technology agreements, both for major Norwegian and global brands.
