Erik Limongi Sial is a founding partner of the firm and a litigation specialist. He is a well-rounded lawyer with experience in a wide array of legal issues, including regulatory and administrative disputes. He oversees the most sophisticated cases and leads the relationship with the firm’s most important corporate clients. Erik acts on all court spheres in Brazil and the Northeast Region (including the Supreme Court and Superior Courts). He frequently advises companies from the following sectors: telecommunications, energy, insurance, real estate, water treatment and distribution.

Career

Erik Limongi Sial founded Limongi Advocacia in January 1994. Beyond his outstanding legal career, he is also the Honorary Consul of Sweden in Recife (with jurisdiction covering the States of Pernambuco, Alagoas, Paraiba e Rio Grande do Norte).

Experience

He holds an LL.B. (1993) from the Catholic University of Pernambuco School of Law, as well as a lato sensu post-graduate degree in Public Law from the Federal University of Pernambuco School of Law, besides taking part in six International Judicial Research and Training Programs (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015) at Fordham University School of Law.

Erik Limongi Sial has been recognised as an outstanding lawyer by several judicial branches, such as the State Court of Pernambuco – TJPE (2022) and the Judicial School of the State Court of Pernambuco – ESMAPE (2018), as well as the Federal Regional Electoral Court at Pernambuco - TRE/PE (2015), which have all awarded him with medals.
