Practice Areas
Elizabeth is a commercial litigator, with a particular focus on financial services, technology and crypto disputes and contentious regulatory matters. Her crypto and blockchain experience includes acting for developers in the landmark Tulip Trading case, acting for both victims of fraud and respondent exchanges in asset tracing and recovery claims, and representing exchanges and other crypto-businesses in all manner of contractual disputes. She also has a wide advisory practice relating to all aspects of the law and regulation of cryptoassets, regularly advising clients on the application of UK regulatory requirements to particular cryptofinance products and services, and representing crypto-businesses who are subject to FCA enquiries in this field.
Outside of crypto, she represents high-net-worth individuals and SME clients in traditional banking and financial services disputes, and for technology companies in software development claims. She also has expertise in all manner of urgent injunctive relief, including freezing orders, disclosure orders, passport orders, search orders and anti-suit injunctions.

Elizabeth is a committee member of the Tech Disputes Network and the SCL Women in Technology Law group. She is a member of the International Technology Law Association. She is also the co-founder of the New Zealand Litigators’ Group, a network for New Zealand qualified practitioners working in the London disputes market.
