Edward Devine

Ed is a Managing Director on the International Fiduciary and Wealth Planning team at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York. He is responsible for the firm’s international and cross-border wealth/tax planning advisory services. This includes working with legal and tax advisors worldwide, developing trust and company structures to effectively meet the unique estate and tax planning requirements of international and cross-border clients, and administration oversight for BBH’s most significant international/cross border fiduciary relationships.

Prior to joining the firm, Ed was employed by Merrill Lynch, Prudential, and J.P. Morgan. He has served in various leadership positions, most recently as co-chairperson of the New York branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP NY). Currently, Ed is a director of STEP USA and a member of the STEP NY Officer Nomination Committee. He also has been selected as a member of the International Wealth Planners Forum sponsored by Cambridge Forums.

Ed received graduate degrees from Columbia University and his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York. He is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner.
