He has more than two decades of professional legal practice, specializing in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law. He served in the Office of the Attorney General for 21 years in various positions, including Acting Assistant Prosecutor, Secretary General of the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation, Senior Prosecutor of the Fourth Judicial District, Prosecutor against Organized Crime, Third Anti-Corruption Prosecutor, Senior Prosecutor for Civil Matters, First Circuit Prosecutor, among others, from 1993 to 2010. He is currently a founding partner of Guevara Legal Bureau, a law firm specializing in Corporate and Economic Criminal Law, since 2010.

He has successfully represented prominent companies in the banking and financial sectors, media organizations, international institutions, among others. He has delivered lectures on Criminal Procedure Law in various national and international forums and has served as a University Professor at Universidad Latina and Universidad de Las Americas, within the Public Prosecutor’s Office training program on the Adversarial Criminal Justice System.

Eduardo Guevara pursued Doctoral studies in Private Law at the University of Paris II, Panthéon-Assas, as well as advanced studies in Commercial Law. He obtained his Law and Political Science degree from the University of Panama in 1996.
