Before founding Almain, Edgard has been a lawyer at Gide including 18 months in Vietnam.
He is advising investment funds as well as French and foreign groups, closely held businesses and scale ups. He brings to his clients his experience of large cap transactions.
He has an extensive experience in in cross-border transactions, as well as venture capital, growth investment, LBO, mezzanine financing, and distressed M&A.
Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than 250 transactions in France and the main European jurisdictions (in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Denmark, etc.), as well as on other continents (the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Tunisia, Libya, Morroco, Turkey, Vietnam, etc.).
