Eamon is lead partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team and has been in legal practice for over 35 years. His practice focuses on dispute resolution, with particular experience in handling complex high value claims, including professional negligence, clinical negligence and commercial disputes. Eamon acts on behalf of a number of leading indemnifiers. In addition, he regularly acts nationally as a Mediator and Arbitrator, as well as promoting the use of alternative dispute resolution. Eamon is recognised internationally for his work and leadership in these areas.
Eamon is known for his evaluative skills and the ability to get to the core of the matter to help resolve even the most complex dispute issues. He is a CEDR accredited mediator, and since 2006 has been a Council member of the Law Society of Ireland. In 2024, Eamon was elected as President of the Law Society of Ireland.
