Des, head of the Americas Litigation practice, strives to extinguish cases early and knows how to try them when necessary. He handles class actions, cyber litigation, major commercial disputes, and congressional investigations. He has been recognized by the Washingtonian for nearly a decade as one of D.C.'s top litigators. Des has successfully led numerous class actions including his recent victory in the Uber Data Breach Multidistrict Litigation, recently won a precedent-setting food labeling class action, and has handled more than two-dozen congressional investigations. Des has also received national attention for his pro bono work, focusing on innocence work.
