Since 2013, Dylan has regularly guest lectured at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University on employment law and human resources. In 2022, he joined the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law, where he teaches Law 561: Employment Law.

Dylan is an accomplished advocate, mediator, and arbitrator with extensive experience representing individuals, businesses, employers, and employees before Alberta’s courts, the Federal Court of Canada, and various administrative and quasi-judicial tribunals. His practice encompasses employment and labour matters, commercial and civil litigation, professional liability and negligence claims, workplace investigations, partnership and shareholder disputes, privacy matters, and contractual disputes. He regularly advises clients on workplace policies, employment agreements, terminations, regulatory compliance, and strategies to manage legal risk and liability.

Dylan has extensive dispute resolution experience and regularly assists clients through mediation, arbitration, negotiation, and settlement processes. He conducts private mediations, with a particular focus on workplace and employment disputes, and brings experience acting for both plaintiffs and defendants to his practical approach to resolving complex matters.

Dylan has also held a number of adjudicative appointments. He was appointed as a Tribunal Member of the Alberta Human Rights Commission in 2025, where he adjudicates human rights matters, conducts case management hearings and mediations, and reviews certain Director’s dismissal decisions. In 2026, he was appointed to the Employment Insurance Board of Appeal. Previously, he served as Vice-Chair of the City of Calgary Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board from 2010 to 2022.
