Personal
Dr Laura Augytė-Kamarauskienė, the Firm’s Managing Partner, is a leading authority in litigation and arbitration with over 20 years of experience. Her doctorate on the 'Recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments' has laid the foundation for a specialized practice in cross-border disputes, private international law, and international inheritance and enforcement matters.
Laura is a recommended arbitrator at the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration and is regularly appointed in complex arbitral proceedings. Laura also leads representation in some of the most structurally significant and legally complex cases in the Lithuanian market. Her work reflects an ability to integrate deep legal theory with actionable courtroom strategy — particularly in cases that shape the broader legal framework for regulated professions, insurance, and enforcement.
Advocate Dr Laura Augytė-Kamarauskienė previously founded and successfully led the law partnership ‘Lexem’. She has always combined practice with academia, teaching for 15 years on international and EU civil procedure and international litigation at MRU to Lithuanian and international students, taking part in various international projects, and authoring more than 20 publications. She regularly speaks at conferences, delivers training for legal professionals and colleagues, is active in public and social initiatives, and shares her business experience as an independent board member.
Since 2009 Dr L. Augytė-Kamarauskienė has been an independent expert to the European Commission in the field of Justice, Freedom and Security.
