Wu obtained an LLM degree from Northwestern University School of Law in USA. He has been practicing law for more than 20 years, providing legal services for many multinational corporations.

Wu has handled many significant transactions, such as China Eastern Airlines, China Mobile, Bank of China, China UnionPay and China Construction Bank to set up a joint venture in BVI, Hong Kong and Shanghai; Shanghai WhiteCat transferring equities to SHutchison Whampoa and establishing JV company with 1 billion yuan; Uni-President acquiring equity of Shanghai Huiyuan; Guangming Food (Group) selling stocks of Gillette (Shanghai) to P&G for CNY 1.8 billion; Eastern Airlines acquiring equity of Shanghai International Airport Hotel from a Japan company;

He won the Annual Awards of “M&A Lawyer of China” by Global Law Experts in 2020 and the Awards of “Top 15 Transaction Lawyers” by Legalband in 2021.
