Dominique is Vice Chair, Toronto Office Managing Partner and co-leader of the firms Innovation, Technology & Branding Practice. She has deep regulatory, transactional, branding and litigation experience, including extensive litigation under the Patented Medicines (NOC) Regulations. Her practice involves trademark prosecution, brand portfolio management, and patent, trademark and copyright litigation and counseling. She also advises on advertising, marketing, labeling, and regulatory matters, most often pertaining to food, drugs, cosmetics and medical devices.
Admitted to the Ontario bar, 1999; New York State bar, 2003; Eastern District and Southern District of New York bar, 2004 and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 2004.
Dominique serves on the Executive Committee of the Advocates’ Society, an association of more than 6,000 members throughout Canada, making submissions to governments and others on matters that affect the administration of justice and the practice of law by advocates. She regularly writes, speaks and teaches on written and oral advocacy, litigation and intellectual property topics. She sits on committees of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the International Trademarks Association and co-chairs the Canadian Bar Association, IP Section: CPD Committee. She serves on the Bennett Jones partnership board.
