Diane T. Carter

Diane has passionately served the healthcare industry for a quarter-century.

Diane advises clients on strategic planning, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring, transactional, regulatory and compliance matters.

Diane’s extensive work on behalf of industry clients has included:

- Organizing and structuring joint ventures nationwide, including hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, CLIA-certified laboratories, office-based cath labs, and imaging centers.

- Interpreting and analyzing compliance with federal and state antifraud and abuse statutes, the Stark statute, privacy statutes and applicable regulations.

- Advising clients regarding startup, formation, merger and acquisition of medical groups and facilities.

- Advising and assisting clients in forming, operating, and participating in managed care and coordinated care organizations and negotiation of related contracts.

Diane is board certified in health law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Before joining Husch Blackwell, Diane was a Partner with Brown McCarroll.

Diane is a former member of the firm’s Executive Board.
