Denis Brock is the chair of O'Melveny's International Disputes and Arbitration Practice and the regional head of the Asia Dispute Resoluiton Practice.
Denis specializes in commercial and corporate international arbitration, as well as litigation. He has appeared before various arbitral tribunals including those administered by HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, LCIA and ICC. Denis is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and one of a very small number of Solicitor Advocates in Hong Kong who can appear as counsel before the courts as well as in arbitration. Denis is recently appointed as National Delegate (HK) to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He also serves an ongoing role as the General Editor of the seminal textbook โArbitration in Hong Kong: A Practical Guide (second edition)โ which is published for both Hong Kong and Singapore and co-edited by the Chief Justice of each jurisdiction. He continues to be appointed by HKIAC, ICC and SIAC and by parties as arbitrator in a number of commercial arbitrations administered by the institutions. Denis is recognized by Chambers Asia as a leading lawyer in international arbitration in China.
