Declan O'Sullivan

Declan is a Partner in the firm’s Dublin office and advises the establishment and authorisation of all types of investment funds including UCITS, hedge funds, property funds, private credit and private equity funds.

He also represents AIFMs, UCITS management companies, investment managers, administrators and depositaries. He also advises on fund finance and has advised clients on the rollout of many innovative new products.

Declan was the founding Partner of the Dublin office of Dechert and previously led the alternative investment practice at Dublin firm William Fry.

He served for many years on a number of committees and working groups of Irish Funds (including a term as Chair of the Alternative Investments Committee). He is currently a council member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) and is also a notary public.

Declan is a regular contributor to leading financial services and asset management publications and speaker at industry events.
