Dean has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial property but specialises in residential and commercial development work and leads the team at Tyr. He acts for some of the UK’s leading national and regional housebuilders and has a wealth of experience in advising on complex strategic land options and site assembly issues. He is also regularly asked to act for landowners to sell land for development as they value the insight he can provide from his experience of acting for developers. Dean works closely with his clients and is renowned for being deal focussed, straight talking and pragmatic.

Career

Dean co-founded Tyr with Alistair Kennedy and Matthew Fidler in 2019. Dean trained at Hammonds qualifying in 2005, before moving to DWF in 2007 and Schofield Sweeney as a partner in 2014.
