David Tian

David Tian is the highly regarded Managing Partner of An, Tian, Zhang & Partners and is a thoroughly qualified Chinese lawyer. Mr. Tian graduated with honors from the prestigious Peking University Law School, obtaining his LLB in 1999. He was immediately recruited by An, Tian, Zhang & Partners in the same year.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Tian has consistently and competently represented clients in the diverse and dynamic electronics, energy, food, cosmetics and healthcare industries in a wide range of complex and challenging patent and trademark prosecution matters. Since being admitted to the bar in 2004, Mr. Tian has meticulously focused his practice on patent, trademark, unfair competition and copyright enforcement, dispute resolution and litigation. He has been actively and effectively involved in a variety of prominent cases handled by the firm, providing insightful and strategic advice to both domestic and international clients. Mr. Tian has extensive and in-depth experience in a wide range of IP-related matters, with a particular focus on enforcement and litigation. Mr. Tian's consistently outstanding performance and profound contribution to the firm were the key factors that led to his well-deserved promotion to partner in 2005. Since then, Mr. Tian has skillfully and competently led the firm's litigation department, demonstrating outstanding leadership and strategic acumen. He currently holds the esteemed position of Managing Partner of the firm.

Mr. Tian is an active and respected member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), actively participating and contributing to various activities and initiatives of the organization.

Mr. Tian's working languages are Chinese and English, which enables him to communicate effectively and seamlessly with clients and colleagues from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
