David Roche has developed a practice dedicated to players in the new technologies, banking and payment services sectors.
David assists his clients with the structuring and implementation of complex technology projects, including contract drafting and negotiation, personal data and artificial intelligence compliance, as well as pre-litigation and litigation management.
He has also developed a sector-specific practice in FinTechs, serving all regulated and unregulated players in the chain. He assists them with regulatory and contractual aspects, and in their relations with supervisors, particularly in the context of cross-border projects.
His expertise covers banking regulation, e-money and payment regulation, financial regulation, licensing procedures, digital assets and crypto, ICOs, anti-money laundering and outsourcing.
Career
Before joining JeanteT, David Roche worked with various law firms and in-house as contract lawyer. He is a postgraduate from Aix-Marseille (Master 2 in business and tax law) and Montpellier (Master 2 in contract law) Universities.
He speaks French, English and Italian.
Professional Memberships
David Roche is a member of AIJA and is the acting president of the legal commission of ADAN, the incumbent French professional association for the development of digital assets.
He intervenes as a speaker in conferences on digital assets and data regulation and regularly assists his clients in public affairs actions toward French and EU legislators and regulators.
