Career

David B. Haber, founder of Haber Law, has over 30 years of experience representing clients in the areas of construction law, complex commercial disputes, real estate and business law, and community association representation. Mr. Haber and his firm emphasize quality of practice, efficiency, and responsiveness to each client’s needs. Mr. Haber is Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law, is recognized by Super Lawyers in Construction Litigation, and is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America.

For over three decades, Mr. Haber has represented and counseled property and business owners, real estate developers, lenders, community associations, contractors and design professionals, and commercial landlords in connection with multimillion-dollar and complex construction, capital improvement, and repair projects, including assisting clients with contract negotiation, bidding and bid protest proceedings, approvals, financing/loans, insurance issues, construction and design disputes, real estate-related transactions, commercial leases and commercial landlord/tenant disputes, distressed asset based transactions, loan workouts and restructurings, and business entity formation, disputes, and dissolution.

Mr. Haber also represents business owners, individuals, community associations and business entities in complex business litigation, arbitrations and appeals, community association law, and other commercial- and real estate-related disputes involving mortgage and uniform commercial code foreclosures (including receiverships, assignments of rents and leases and defense of lender liability matters), title insurance claims defense and coverage disputes, construction defects litigation, fraud, contract and forgery litigation, commercial aviation litigation, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights representation, and sophisticated international collection matters.

Mr. Haber’s experience in these areas, his proven reputation for being a fierce advocate, and his practical business sense provide the firm’s clients with expertise in counseling clients, achieving resolutions that are architected to meet a client’s needs and interests, and assessing the risk-reward factors associated with a particular matter and litigation in general.
