His practice focuses on Administrative Law, specialized on public procurement, government tenders and concessions; infrastructure; Banking Law; commercial transactions and contracts; design, constitution, maintenance and modification of corporate structures, especially for partnerships with disputes among shareholders or with third parties; Corporate Law, mergers and acquisitions; foreign investment; real-estate transactions; Tax Law and estate planning.
His recent experience includes legal support to telephone companies and international companies that include their incorporation and operation in Guatemala. Performance as local expert advisor for an international arbitration in infrastructure and mining matters as the design of the legal and tax strategies for real-estate developments for amounts that exceed US$100 million just in the last year; and credit structuring for more than US$25 million granted by local banks to be used abroad, with mixed guarantees in different countries.
