David has 30 years of experience in optimization of indirect taxes for both domestic and cross-border transactions, VAT advisory services, negotiations with tax authorities, and due diligence counselling. His expertise spans various sectors, including real estate, industrial, chemical, and telecommunications, among others.

David’s practice focuses on indirect taxes, real estate VAT and taxes, European VAT, and tax litigation.

He is a partner in the tax department at Reed Smith’s Paris office.

Prior to joining Reed Smith, David was a partner in the tax department at Winston & Strawn. Before that, he worked as a tax lawyer at KPMG and PwC.
