Practice Areas
Real estate institutional investment and asset management are at the core of Carole's practice. With more than 18 years of experience in the real estate sector, she advises French and international clients on all kinds of assets, from offices and logistics to hotels and retails, as well as serviced homes, health care assets and schools. She has handled large scale acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and property developments in France and Northern Africa. She is also involved in cross border transactions.
Carole also has a strong focus on private infrastructures (solar plants, wind turbines, telecom towers, data centers) and on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects of real estate. She helps clients to achieve their sustainable real estate investment and finance goals, advising on environmental considerations and energy efficient development.
Carole holds a Master 2 in real estate and construction law from the Paris II Panthéon-Assas university and was admitted to the Paris Bar. Her experience at other law firms gave her valuable insights into the North African market. She joined Reed Smith as a partner in 2020.
