Dariusz is a founding partner of a boutique law firm in Warsaw and head of Litigation&Dispute Resolution Team. His focus is on commercial litigation concerning financial market institutions and corporate disputes related to the operation of companies. This includes protecting the rights of shareholders, as well as issues involving the liability of members of management boards.

He represents investment funds, insurance companies and pension funds in front of common courts of law, Polish Financial Supervisory Authority and administrative courts.

His clients value his engagement, availability, knowledge and experience and emphasize that he is a client-orientated lawyer with strong skills.

Career

Prior to founding DMS in 2004, he worked in financial institutions and cooperated with the Warsaw offices of international law firms, where he was responsible for services offered to pension and investment funds, and advised Polish and international clients on matters concerning capital markets.

From 1995 to 1997 he was the director of the legal team at the Funds Management Department in the Polish Development Bank S.A. Subsequently, as a legal advisor, he coordinated legal advisory services related to founding and then operating one of the first trust fund associations in Poland.
