Daniel is particularly recognised for providing telecoms regulatory, commercial and corporate advice to clients across the globe. Highly regarded in the telecoms industry, he has been for some years a Judge on the industry’s most prestigious Capacity Awards and was on the Mobile Ecosystem Form EMEA Board. He acts for companies throughout the telecoms ecosystem, covering, fixed, mobile, satellite, IoT (including connected cars) as well as advising regulators and governments.

Career

Daniel is a co-founder of Preiskel & Co and has over 25 years’ experience working in the telecoms, media and technology sectors, advising across the globe. He has been ranked for over 20 years in major independent research guides as one of the world’s leading communications lawyers.

Daniel advises the following industry associations: ISPA, ITSPA, MEF and FCS, having been vice-chair of the IBA Communications Law Committee and founder of the iMVNOx Association.

Previously he was an investment banker in Deutsche Morgan Grenfell’s telecoms team and headed TMT departments at two City law firms. He worked in the European Commission’s Competition Directorate on anti-trust matters in the telecoms sector.

Daniel has a MA in law from Cambridge University (Jesus College), speaks seven languages and passed the SFA investment banking exams.
