“The top pick for employment and commercial disputes cases” (Chambers & Partners, Employment), he led the claimant team in the record breaking Guy Carpenter v Howden team move litigation (2023), acted on two F1 disputes for Red Bull(2022); appeared in the Supreme Court in Egon Zehnder v Tillman (2019); and acted for the claimants in ‘the last of the great payday disputes’ Gruber v AIG (a $100m claim). High profile commercial disputes include, acting for tens of thousands of claimants in the Emissions Group Litigation; the football sponsorship claim, New Balance v Liverpool FC; and Capco’s block chain banking platform fraud claim against Thought Machine. He acted for the claimant against the Russian oligarch founders of ENRC recovering damages for breach of an oral contract (Stein v Chodiev).
